Neurology/Neurosurgery
Neurology is the specialization of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the brain, spine, and nervous system by surgical procedures and nonsurgical treatments based on the type of injury or illness.
A healthy nervous system translated to a healthy active body and mind. Every action voluntary, involuntary and reflex are control by the organ under this branch of medicine.
Voluntary Actions : Intentional actions like eating, walking, and jumping that involve the brain and peripheral nervous system are called voluntary actions.
Involuntary actions : Actions that are made with specific though in a subconscious state like breathing, pumping of the heart, salivation etc. are involuntary actions. These are controlled by the medulla oblongata, a part of the brain.
Reflex Action : A sudden, unthought spontaneous reaction to adapt to a stimulus is called a reflex action. This is not controlled by the brain but by the spinal cord.
